Why brunch?
Cheers!
Morning Standard Brunch Club was founded because nightlife is overrated and mornings deserved better PR.
It started with a simple realization: people still want to dress up, socialize, and feel part of something — they just don’t want to leave the house at 10pm or recover for two days afterward.
Brunch feels like the sweet spot: good food, strong drinks, daylight chaos, and the ability to still be home by dinner.
At its core, Morning Standard exists to:
Turn breakfast into the main event
Give people a reason to show up, show out, and connect in-person
Create themed, low-pressure experiences that feel special without feeling exhausting
Prove you can have fun, be social, and make memories before 4pm
It’s for late sleepers, creatives, social butterflies, and anyone who believes community shouldn’t require a hangover.
In short:
Morning Standard was founded to make mornings fun again — and to build a brunch club (and community) worth waking up for.
